Pat Merryweather-Arges, a distinguished member of the Rotary Club of Naperville, Illinois, holds the position of Executive Director at Project Patient Care, a nonprofit organization focused on enhancing healthcare. With an extensive background in healthcare improvement initiatives, Merryweather-Arges has spearheaded nationwide patient and family engagement programs, collaborated on diagnostic research, and developed a widely recognized guide for healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Passionate about addressing care disparities, Merryweather-Arges is actively involved in transforming the nursing home system to prioritize resident-centered care. Her expertise is recognized globally, as she contributes to the World Health Organization’s expert consultation on patient safety initiatives.

Beyond her impactful work in healthcare, Merryweather-Arges has made significant contributions to Rotary. She has served on various committees, including the COVID-19 Task Force, and held leadership positions as a representative to the Council on Legislation and Council on Resolutions. She also chaired the 2018 presidential peace conference and actively participates in Rotary Foundation grant projects.
