IPDG Barrister Adnan Saboor Rohaila
Adnan Saboor Rohaila was born on 14th July in Peshawar. He initially graduated from Edwards College Peshawar. Adnan Saboor Rohaila right from his school times was always interested in more than only education. Active social worker, a sportsman, a debater and someone with an urge of a social reformer. He joined Rotract in 1994 while in college before being a brief part of the interact club. He became the President of Rotract Club Of Peshawar South District 3270 in 1996 and was declared as best President and Rotractor at both Zonal and District level in district 3270. He proceeded to the UK for his higher education where he remained member of Rotract Club Buckingham, UK. He did his Bachelors and Master in Law before he was called to the bar of England and Wales as a Barrister of The Honourable Society Of Lincolns Inn.
He worked as junior marshal to the UN prosecution team at the war crimes Tribunal formed for former Yugoslavia at the Hague International Court of Justice as a unique distinction for a Pakistani Student.
Adnan became DRR in 2004-05 the centennial year of Rotary in which his father was the DG at the same year. Adnan got special appreciation from the then RI President as an outstanding DRR Recognition.
He joined Rotary in 2006 as Chartered Secretary of Rotary Club Peshawar Executives. He remained president 2007-2008, Assistant Governor 2010, Deputy Governor 2012, DRC, and held Chairman ship of Fellowship Committee 2017-2019 and International Services Committee 2019-2020. He has been elected as a District Governor for the year 2022-23 overwhelmingly by district 3272 Pakistan as the first PDRR to have reached the position. He has also been awarded the Regional Award for Polio Free World by Rotary International. He is a regular donor to the Rotary Foundation.
He is a corporate International Law advisor and Corporate Litigation expert having an impeccable repute and goodwill. He belongs to a Rotary Family where his wife and kids are also Paul Harris Fellows.
